Hi! It is Yelnaz

I am a product designer researcher and engineer with a background in game development, leveraging technology to craft innovative, user-centered solutions.

In 2024, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. After my junior year, I interned as a game developer at Simsoft Technologies in Ankara, Turkey. During a pivotal brainstorming session, my mentor encouraged me to consider how users interact with the game at the most granular level—down to the specific hand and finger movements.

This experience, coupled with my passion for Extended Reality, inspired me to pursue a Master's in Information Science at the University of Michigan. Here, I focus on UX Research & Design, and Extended Reality, striving to create intuitive and impactful digital experiences.

Feel free to reach out to collaborate or explore my portfolio further!

Beyond work and studies, I enjoy traveling and film photography.
